Exciting Summer Enrichment Programs

We look forward to having you join us for a wide variety of enriching summer programs! All our camps are open to students who will be entering K through 6th grades in the 2025-26 school year. Campers are welcome to have a friend or sibling join them for camp even if they don’t attend Cascadia, though they must attend the same session of camp, and be in the same age group as their Cascadia peer.

Each week of camp is $550 per child with After Care provided in the price.

Week 1: Jun 23-27

Art & Games Camp

This week the students will be invited to dive into a world of creativity and self- expression! Over the course of the camp, they’ll explore a variety of art mediums, from paintings and sculpture to drawing and mixed media. Each day will offer exciting new projects, while also building their confidence as young artists. With plenty of space for imagination and personal style, this camp is perfect for kids to discover and refine their artistic talents!

Along with art, this week will focus on collaborative games as well! Playing games with children helps them grow by fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Activities like problem solving, turn-taking, creative thinking, cooperation, and physical movement all allow children to practice and build important life skills while having fun too!

Week 2: Jun 30-Jul 3

Circus Camp

Whether you're a seasoned circus enthusiast or stepping into the magical world of the circus for the first time, join us as we embark on a thrilling adventure this summer!

In this dynamic camp, campers will delve into a myriad of physical and mental disciplines inspired by the captivating world of circus performers. From mastering acrobatics and tumbling to conquering the trapeze, juggling with finesse, showcasing balance on the tightwire, and even commanding the rolling globe – the excitement knows no bounds!

Join us for an extraordinary experience where every participant, regardless of their circus background, will discover the joy of learning and mastering these skills. Unleash your inner performer and get ready for a camp filled with exhilarating challenges and boundless fun!

Week 3: Jul 7-11

Robotics Camp

This camp is an immersive, unconventional experience that challenges individuals to lean into their natural inquisitiveness through mindful strategies, and most importantly: robotics! The camp curriculum merges S.T.E.M. subject matters with meaningful, engaging, recreational activities. Students will attain essential skills and will gain exposure to new and advanced technologies by exploring robotics kits to build, test and program robots, all-the-while fortifying their skillset in physics and electromagnetism, sensors and electronics, coding and the engineering design process. This program is structured as a continuum and perfect for individuals whose programming knowledge ranges from novice to expert level — robotics are for everyone!

Week 4: Jul 14-18

Drama & Hockey Camp

This exciting camp combines two very different but equally interesting activities: drama and floor hockey! For half of each day, students will take Musical Theater Camp with Studio East! Become a triple threat in just a week in this camp dedicated to honing your acting, singing, and dancing skills.  We'll explore Broadway classics as well as contemporary musical theater hits while strengthening technique as well as having a lot of fun. Then, we’ll select a few pieces to perform on the final day of camp.

For the other half of each day, we will get active with some thrilling floor hockey! No ice? No skates? No problem! Feel the heat with the hottest new youth sport to hit the Eastside in 2025: Floorball! Fast, fun, safe, and inclusive — no previous experience required!

Join Coach Salvatore and Emerald City Floorball this Summer as he brings the great sport of ball hockey to Cascadia. Learn the fundamental skills of hockey while having fun doing it. Not only will your child learn these skills, but they will get to apply them in our competitive, and fun interactive scrimmages. This camp helps assure all kids get their daily dose of exercise, while learning other skills such as healthy competition, teamwork, quick thinking, listening, and leadership!

Week 5: Jul 21-25

STEAM Camp: Building Adventures

Jr. STEAM Explorers — (K through 2nd Grade)

Introducing for the first time, a camp where students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade can explore the sciences, technology, ecology, culture, and arts. Young campers will learn about and build an African Safari, a playground for monkeys in India, a Parisian picnic at the base of the Eiffel Tower (and build the tower too), and other stops in Sydney, the Amazon Rainforest, and more. All materials and supplies provided by Challenge Island!

Arcade Mania — (3rd Grade through 6th)

This Kids-Choice Challenge Island adventure puts a 100% SCREEN-FREE twist on popular video games. Campers will build their own REAL (not digital games) that include a Fort with trapdoors, and floor traps. They will design real-life versions of retro games like Mario Brothers, Space Aliens and even Pinball Machines! This camp will inspire kids to put aside screens and build real physical games. For future game designers and anyone with a creative spirit.

Week 6: Jul 28-Aug 1

STEAM Camp: Laboratory

STEAMwart — (K through 2nd Grade)

Welcome to STEAMwarts Academy of Wizards, Spells and Potions! 

In this adventurous class, campers will start by designing their own wands and wizarding gear. They will mix up spell binding potions (i.e. make colorful slimes), and make their own flying dragon. After designing and building a roller coaster adventure through the caves under the Gringotts vault, the camp culminates with an enchanted graduation ceremony complete with butter beer and diplomas. This camp is a must if your child is a Harry Potter fan.

SlimeTopia — (3rd Grade through 6th)

Once upon a time... the most popular summer camp decided to turn children’s favorite story books into fantastical slimy adventures. In this camp, STEAM Teams will mix up and create new slime classics like Alice’s Unbirthday Cake Slime, Charlie’s Everlasting Gobstopper Slime, Percy’s Blue Cookie Slime, Narnia’s Turkish Delight Slime and STEAMwarts Butter Beer Slime. They will learn about pressure and its effects, conduct an investigation to determine whether the mixing of two or more substances results in new substances. Join us to understand the properties of slime as a polymer and non-Newtonian fluid. If your child likes to mix materials, concoct potions, and create a little bit of a mess... this is a sure fire winner. All supplies and materials provided by Challenge Island.

Week 7: Aug 4-8

Leadership, Dance, and Fencing Camp

For our final summer camp week, we have an exciting multi-disciplinary camp that covers all kinds of activities! In the first half of the day, the older and younger students will sperate to learn their own activities: Leadership and Dance, then in the second half they will all combine together to learn the art of the sword with Fencing!

Dance — (K through 2nd Grade)

Mrs. Vanessa will lead an Enchanted Forest camp for our younger students to explore pre-ballet. Campers will learn body coordination, basic ballet vocabulary, and basic music interpretation. No dance experience needed! 

Leadership — (3rd Grade through 6th)

Ms. Reisman will explain what it looks like to be a skillful leader. Over the course of the program, students will learn how to communicate and problem-solve through interactive games, activities, and debrief discussions. 

Fencing — (All Grades)

Have you ever dreamt of being a pirate? How about winning an Olympic Gold Medal?  At Kaizen Academy, our fully trained staff will teach you the basics of Olympic style fencing through the introduction of bladework and footwork that will help guide you to being successful in the sport of fencing regardless of age or physical ability... this is a sport for everyone!
