Admissions Process
We know that picking your child's elementary school is one of the most significant decisions you'll make for them, and we're honored that you are considering Cascadia to be part of their story. At Cascadia, we believe education should be both exceptional and transparent—our all-inclusive tuition model means no surprise or extra fees throughout the year.
We look forward to getting to know your child's passions, personality, and learning needs so we can determine if Cascadia is a good fit for your family. Our application process is simple and is facilitated through the admissions platform Ravenna.
Schedule a Tour
Experience our campus firsthand. While tours are optional, many families find them helpful for understanding our educational approach and getting a sense of our community. Tours book quickly and are offered on a limited basis.
Submit Full Application
Complete your application on Ravenna ($75 fee — waived for financial aid families). We'll guide you through the specific requirements for your child's grade level.
Child + Family Interviews
In addition to your child's assessment, we interview families to ensure alignment with our educational philosophy — this mutual fit benefits both your child and our community.

Tuition
No surprise fees. Ever. While most independent schools list one tuition rate and then add costs throughout the year for core programs, Cascadia's tuition covers your complete annual investment.

All field trips — including overnight camps for 4th and 5th grade
Technology — a personal laptop for each student in 2nd grade and above

Daily snack — provided every school day
Unlimited after school care — 3–6 PM, every day
Early Commitment: Decision notification on February 2, 25% deposit required at time of enrollment.
Regular Decision: Decision notification on March 20, 10% enrollment deposit required.
Sibling discount: 10% for older siblings while siblings are enrolled together.
Payment plans: 1, 2, or 10 installments available.

Affordability & Financial Aid
We believe exceptional elementary education should be available to families who share our values, regardless of financial circumstances.
A Cascadia education builds the foundation for lifelong learning, critical thinking, and community engagement — investments that benefit not just your child, but our entire school community. During the admissions process, we assess a family's financial situation to determine aid eligibility. We prioritize support for families earning approximately $120,000 or less (King County's median family income), though all families are encouraged to apply for assistance.
How it works: Apply for financial aid during the admissions process. Aid decisions are made separately from admissions decisions. Awards are based on demonstrated financial need. Application fee waivers are available for aid recipients.

After School Care & Enrichment
Included After School Care: Every day from 3–6 PM, we provide engaging childcare at no additional cost — structured and unstructured playtime, homework support, and staff-led activities that reinforce the day's learning in a relaxed, fun environment.
Optional Enrichment Classes: If you want to add specialized classes during aftercare, we offer rotating enrichment classes throughout the year, averaging $325 per term. Your tuition covers all the after-school care your family needs — enrichment classes are entirely optional.

Early Commitment offers limited seats to ensure space remains for the broader pool of applicant families. Families not admitted through Early Commitment will be considered in our regular admissions process.

All Families: Complete the Ravenna application ($75 fee — waived for financial aid families), family forms, and parent statement. We will then reach out to schedule your student assessment and family interview.
Grades 1–4: Add teacher evaluation and school records from this year and last year.
Pre-K & Kindergarten: Add teacher evaluation if your child attended preschool. No additional requirements if your child hasn't attended preschool or if records aren't available.
