Reshma Kurswani | 2nd Grade Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Kurswani joined Cascadia in 2026, bringing over 10 years of teaching experience spanning preschool through 2nd grade. What she loves most about her work is building genuine connections with learners by listening to how they think, feel, and see the world. Mrs. Kurswani believes deeply in student-centered education, where the teacher's role is to facilitate the foundational skills that lead each learner toward growth and success.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kurswani enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening, and cherishes time spent with family and friends. She loves growing vegetables and finds it fascinating to watch their life cycle unfold, and she's always excited to try new recipes in the kitchen. Mrs. Kurswani is an active member of a non-profit organization dedicated to the idea of Universal Brotherhood, and she regularly volunteers in community events such as tree planting, food drives, blood donation drives, and sandwich-making initiatives. Mrs. Kurswani is a lover of Bollywood music, dance, and movies, and she speaks three languages: Hindi, Sindhi, and English.
