Replacing our Backyard Play Structure

School Day May 10th, 2017-0329.jpg

As we move on from construction of our Founders’ Wing, it is time for updates in our backyard. Our beloved playset, hand-built by our founders over 30 years ago, sadly reached a point where it could no longer safely be repaired, so we decided it was time to replace it with something that will last us another 30 years.

Play and movement is an essential part of any child’s education. We are working with Play Creation and have designed a space together that will allow students to get their wiggles out while also encouraging imaginative play, cooperative games, and just plain fun.

our Fundraising goal: $100,000

Designing and building new play structures to last the next 30+ years comes with a large price tag. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for our new playground over the summer, so we can complete the project in the fall.

Our suggested donation of $750 per family would get us off to a great start with the hope that those who are able can give more as an investment that will benefit all Cascadia students for years to come.

Those who donate $750 and above will receive recognition as an Evergreen Donor on a permanent donor sign that will be placed in the playground area.

Evergreen Donors

We appreciate the support of our Cascadia community. As a small school, we rely on the time, talents and generosity of our community to help our school reach its full potential. We cannot do it without you!
