Kayleigh Black | Aftercare Teacher
Ms. Kayleigh joined Cascadia in 2026, and she brings a lifetime of experience working with children to the aftercare program. From babysitting and nannying to summer camp counseling and serving as a teaching assistant, she has been building meaningful connections with kids for as long as she can remember. What you'll notice right away about Ms. Kayleigh is her energy. She's a self-described kid at heart who loves being silly and making children smile. Seeing her students happy is what brings her the most joy, and that enthusiasm is contagious. A true lifelong learner, Ms. Kayleigh has explored everything from languages and geography to entomology, making her something of a fun fact machine. Outside of school, Ms. Kayleigh's world is full of animals. She currently cares for four chickens, a horse, and a dog, and her past pets have included peacocks, llamas, pigeons, and even bats. She's also currently on the hunt for a chinchilla.
