Deepkamal Kalsi | Pre-K Teacher
Ms. Kalsi joined the Cascadia team in 2015 and has been working with children for the past ten years as a teacher. She speaks six languages (fluent in five of them) including Kiswahili, Punjabi, French, Hindi, Gujarati, and English. Her favorite part of working at Cascadia is connecting daily with her pre-K students and she treasures the spontaneous hugs and artwork received daily from them. She loves being able to witness that moment when their eyes light up because they understand something for the first time. When not teaching, she enjoys spending her time reading, watching soccer, cooking, and discovering new places to eat. Someday she would love to travel to Robben Island in South Africa, and to master the art of photography. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of the food, football, and the joy of being surrounded by family and friends.
