(SOLD OUT) Chess
Embark on an exciting chess journey with esteemed instructors from Ellen Art School. This enrichment program offers a comprehensive approach to chess education. Each session begins with explanations of key chess concepts, followed by hands-on puzzle solving in workbooks to reinforce learning. Students will enjoy ample time for friendly gameplay, honing their skills in a supportive environment. With a focus on all aspects of the game, including openings, middlegame strategies, and endgame techniques, our class empowers students to elevate their chess prowess so that even beginner chess players can be ready to apply their skills to play and compete outside of class too. Parents will be invited to come and watch an informal competition and medal ceremony on last day of the class.

Digital Art with Friends
This class builds on the foundational art skills students developed as younger learners while supporting their growing creativity and appreciation for artistic expression. Working with instructors from DigiPen, students will expand their digital drawing and painting techniques and explore more intricate styles of digital art. As the course progresses, they will also be introduced to the fundamentals of animation, learning how static images and objects can be transformed into simple moving visuals.

(SOLD OUT) Science Explorers
This class taps into young children’s natural curiosity about the world around them. Offered by Stemtree, Science Explorers introduces foundational science concepts through hands-on experiments, guided exploration, and interactive activities designed especially for early learners. Students observe, ask questions, make simple predictions, and explore cause-and-effect relationships while discovering how things work. Each lesson is engaging, visual, and age-appropriate, helping students build confidence and develop early scientific thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Karate
Students will learn and practice Karate skills with punching bags, breaking boards, blocking drills, kicking targets, and more! The professional instructor from Karate-X will motivate kids while building self-confidence and discipline. Parents will be able to attend the belt test and ceremony at the end of the session, giving students firmly-defined goals to aim for and recognition of their accomplishments. Price includes belt test and uniform.
