Valerie Moore | After School Care
Ms. Valerie joined Cascadia this year as an after-school teacher. She has spent 6 years working with children in a variety of settings, including her time volunteering with refugee families and children in Washington DC to help them get settled in their new homes. She has always loved literature and writing, and is passionate about travel, hiking, exploring new cuisines, and getting to know people. She dreams of traveling back to Kenya to go on a safari, and is excited to be living in the PNW now so she can explore all the great places to hike with her husband and dog. As a child, Ms. Valerie always wanted to make a global impact but has since realized the biggest impact she can make is by being kind and respectful to those around her.
