Madison Wood| First Grade Teacher
Mrs. Wood joined the Cascadia team in 2021 and has spent the last seven years working with children. She is passionate about weaving creativity, social-emotional development, and academic subjects into a project-based curriculum. Her favorite subjects are math and science and she thoroughly enjoys helping students find confidence and excitement in STEM as they recognize and apply patterns to real life experiences. Her hands are always busy with crocheting, painting, or doing yoga. She dreams of someday enjoying an extended vacation in Denmark so she can be fully immersed in their customs and education. Her childhood dream was to train horses, and her claim to fame is that she can put together any IKEA furniture.
