Josh Wood | Fourth grade Teacher
Mr. Wood came to Cascadia in 2021 and has spent six years working with children. His favorite subject to teach is social studies and he is passionate about helping students develop emotional growth and awareness–supporting them in discovering their own identities and developing coping strategies to deal with the inevitable stressors of life. His favorite part of teaching is being witness to that “aha” moment, when he sees his students reach that next level of personal growth. His hobbies include playing basketball, writing and playing cribbage. As a child, he dreamed of making video games, and his claim to fame is that he is a published author of a children’s book! He would love to revisit England someday, refine his chopping and cutting skills in the kitchen, and master the art of cooking fish to a perfect tenderness.
