Jelena Pavicevic | Math & STEM Enrichment Teacher
Ms. Jelena came to Cascadia in 2018 and has spent 20 years working with children. She is the founder of Archimedes School of Creative Thinking and is passionate about teaching math and physics. Watching a student’s process of understanding is priceless for her. Originally from former Yugoslavia, she is fluent in speaking Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and English. When she is not teaching, she enjoys hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, bird watching, and gardening. She would love to master playing the piano and dreams of traveling to Japan. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a scientist, and her guilty pleasure is creme brulee. She loves Thanksgiving and any other holiday that doesn’t involve gifts.
